Mission Statement

The Clay-Mir Foundation makes distributions for charitable purposes to nonprofit charitable causes (in the Douglassville area), with a focus on human services to children, the aging and the needy, and on grassroots community improvements.

“We want to provide hope.  First it’s food, clothing, and shelter.  Then it’s education and information. We want to lift spirits in a time when there seems little to look forward to.”

The Clay-Mir Foundation supports nonprofit causes in the Douglassville region with a focus on human services to children, the aging and the needy, and on grassroots community improvements. The Clay-Mir Foundation fund advisors, joined by associates from R&S Property Services of Spring City, PA, recently visited The Pottstown Cluster to help unload a large delivery of bulk food items which will be distributed to local individuals and families in need of food who live in the Pottstown region. The volunteers also moved heavy supplies like air mattresses, cleaning kits and other items from the warehouse. These items will be given to homeless people when they settle into their new homes. According to The Pottstown Cluster, “The difference they made was phenomenal. Our warehouse worker who usually breaks down the shipment by himself was nearly in tears with gratitude.” We admire the volunteerism and philanthropy of Clay-Mir Foundation and R&S Property Services.
