Citizen Advocacy

Mission

The mission of Citizen Advocacy of Chester County is to initiate and support a variety of intentional relationships that provide advocacy for opportunity, protection from harm, sponsorship into community life, friendship, and justice for isolated people living with a disability.
Advocates take on many different roles and often involve their family and friends. With and for their partners, they have: fostered community engagement, provided medical representation, identified work opportunities, accessed transportation, managed finances, and found housing to name a few!

“Nicole & I continue to earn each other’s trust, figuring it out together. When I needed folks in my corner, they were there for me. I will continue to be in Nicole’s corner.” – April K.

“Friendship is one of the greatest expressions of love and my relationship with Nick has produced great joy for both of us. We look forward to each other’s companionship, even with our very differing opinions on ‘good’ music. Haha! – Joe R.

We are honored and grateful to be recognized as the Phoenixville Regional Chamber of Commerce’s “Non-Profit of the Year” in 2025!
