December 9, 2019 The Thoroughbred Education and Research Foundation (TERF) is pleased to award Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation $5000 to support their research efforts.  Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation’s mission is to fund veterinary research beneficial to promoting the health and soundness of horses. Food for Thought: A New Program for Nonprofit Board Members

The Chester County Community Foundation and United Way of Southern Chester County are excited to announce a new Food for Thought program for current and prospective nonprofit board members, launching in January 2020.   Food for Thought sessions explore nonprofit board service in-depth and help board members optimize their board performance through practical, provocative and fun ‘food for thought’ gatherings.   Sessions are scheduled on the second Tuesdays at the Market at Liberty Place in Kennett:  January 14, February 11, April 14 and June 9.  Current and prospective nonprofit board members can attend a free morning session from 8-9:30 am… Read More »

Thoroughbred Education and Research Foundation Awards $3,000 to Fair Hill Thoroughbred Show

The Thoroughbred Education and Research Foundation (TERF) is pleased to award the Fair Hill Thoroughbred Show $3000 to further the education of students. Fair Hill Thoroughbred Show’s mission is to encourage ownership of Thoroughbreds as sport horses by rewarding those who own and ride them in second careers.   The Fair Hill Thoroughbred show provides a welcoming horse show geared to the needs of Thoroughbreds transitioning to second careers.
