About Mr.Snyder…
This fund was created in honor of Francis J. “Fritz” Snyder. Born on August 1, 1920, Mr. Snyder started work in the factory in which his father worked in 1938, married Loretta Ryan in 1948, raised 9 children, and retired from that factory in 1982. Since that time, he picked up over 50,000 beer cans and sent the entire proceeds to Catholic missionaries around the world for the support of those less fortunate.  Francis passed away at the age of 93 with a smile on his face and holding the hands of two of his children.

Kasipiti Children’s Home

Kasipiti Children’s Home was founded in 2013 under the guidance of the Little Children of our Blessed Lady sisters (L.C.B.L.) based on the ideas and hard work of Ruth Kalbermatten, who was moved by the plight of needy children of Zimbabwe.  Her wish to provide these children with food, shelter, education and a family unit was realized by the L.C.B.L. sisters in 2013; the home received the first of their children on July 9 of that year; within a short time the home was full with children who have been abandoned.  The Kaspiti Children’s Home continues to provide needed services and a loving home to an underserved population. Your much appreciated donation will provide support to their work.

Your generous donation will support the expenses of the home, as broken out below.  In total, Sr. Veronicah and her team are able to raise these 18 children in a loving, supportive home for a total outlay of $4,820 per month.  After the next 5 years of support, their goal is to be self-sufficient based on an agricultural project in which they are embarking.

The Kaspiti Children’s Home continues to provide these needed services to an underserved population. Please make a donation to support their work.
