Mission Statement
The purpose of Karen L. Mapes Memorial Scholarship Fund shall be to provide educational scholarships to graduating Downingtown West High School seniors who will be pursuing post-secondary study.
Qualifications
• Students must be senior students at Downingtown West High School who intend to pursue post-secondary education at a college/university or technical school
• Scholarship recipients will be selected by teachers in the English Department at Downingtown West High School
• Students who receive this scholarship must have shown significant academic and behavioral improvement during their high school years as judged by the teachers in the English Department
