Kathy Clark Flamm Scholarship fund

The Kathy Clark Flamm Scholarship Fund was created by Sue White Villarini, Kathy’s lifelong friend, fellow Henderson High School graduate and fellow Nurse Practitioner, and Bruce Flamm, a former board member of the Chester County Community Foundation, in honor of Kathy, who passed away from COVID-19 in April 2020 while protecting and caring for her patients during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kathy graduated at the top of her class at Henderson High School, was accepted at the University of Pennsylvania, and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing. She worked as an RN at Presbyterian-University of Pennsylvania Medical Center before returning to Penn to earn her Master’s Degree in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner. Her career as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care, and finally in elder care in a long term care facility, was her greatest passion.

Kathy’s commitment to her patients and pride in her profession was always evident, even while she was battling her own physical disabilities from a debilitating stroke in 2005. She is an exceptional role model, particularly for all future nurses!
