Mission Statement
The mission of the Kelly Ann Foundation is to award scholarships to a deserving Chester County Futures graduates who aspire to pursue post-secondary study in mathematics or biology.
Kelly Ann’s Story
In 1988, Kelly was a bright and energetic 16-year old high school sophomore and a member of the National Honor Society. She had an outstanding love of learning and excelled in all subjects, especially math and biology.
Kelly was known by her friends, family, and teachers as exceptionally kind and caring with a wonderful sense of humor. She had great character, integrity, and a positive attitude that persisted despite her illness. Her compassion was evident not only in school, but also in the other activities she enjoyed most: karate; reading; and caring for her many pets.
Her goal was to become a medical research scientist and to make significant contributions in science for the greater good of humanity.
