Jamie Sauer Charitable Fund

The Jamie Sauer Charitable Fund has been established by her family (Sauer, Sciandra, Fuller, Wasylyszyn) to create a lasting tribute to commemorate her life. Jamie possessed the amazing qualities and embodied the beauty which she wanted others to see in themselves: a radiating spirit, a contagious smile, inspiring ambitions, fearlessness and bravery in all her endeavors, and poise in times of reflection.

Jamie was entirely giving of herself to support and care for others. She advocated for those less fortunate by having a collection basket in her classroom for snacks for her students who were hungry. Jamie supported local businesses such as her friends’ personal companies. She loved animals, including her three fur babies. She organized and planned for fun of all ages in so many ways, including having crayons and coloring pages provided at her wedding for her nieces and nephews, and her rubber duck collection which brought out her child-like side.

Jamie’s love and gift of writing was most wholeheartedly known in the affirmations that she expressed to her family, friends, and especially her students. Scholarships will be made to honor causes that were important to Jamie during her life.

It is the family’s initial intent to raise $25,000+ for an endowed fund that can support an annual $1000+ scholarship forever in Jamie’s memory.
