Josh Maxwell Runs NY Fund

Chester County Commissioner Josh Maxwell runs the New York City Marathon in support of the Josh Maxwell Runs NY Fund. The purpose of the Josh Maxwell Runs NY Fund is to make charitable distributions to nonprofit organizations in Chester County, particularly those focused on suicide prevention. Please make a tax-deductible gift to support the cause.

The first New York City Marathon took place in 1970. It is now the world’s largest marathon. Like Josh, many participants run in support of charitable causes near and dear to their hearts. Click here to read more about the New York City Marathon.

A personal note from Josh: “As a community, we need to do everything we can to support anyone who is struggling. I’m running the NYC Marathon to raise money for mental health and suicide prevention because I want my neighbors and friends to know they are never alone, and to make sure we all have the resources we need to thrive. Your support means a lot not just to me, but to the hardworking organizations doing this essential work day in and day out. Thank you.”
