About

Lauren Marshall was a loving wife and mother. She lived for her close-knit family and found her greatest joys in the company of the ones closest to her. She cherished her role as a loving and devoted mother of her two children, Douglas and Jillian Marshall. She oftentimes would spend her time in coastal Connecticut, where her children lived, and where she could take long seaside walks with her husband, Glenn. Lauren held many interests and hobbies, such as reading and playing computer games, but most of all, she loved music. Lauren’s family led her to develop a love for supporting causes that helped children and families in need of assistance. This need could be related to medical issues or any families that just needed help during strenuous times.

Lauren was dedicated to making a difference for others. She admired grass roots organizations that provided everyday support to families in local communities. She found so much joy in meeting dedicated public service minded individuals who were doing amazing work in their local communities even without the mega-sized non-profits. Lauren especially had a soft-spot for families of military veterans.

Outside of family and philanthropy, Lauren worked hard in the medical administration field for over 30 years.

Lauren passed away on May 26, 2024 at age 64 surrounded by her family after a long illness. She will be remembered as the most loving wife to Glenn and mother to Doug and Jillian. Her profound impact on her community has cemented her legacy as a philanthropist with kindness, love, generosity, perseverance and strength.
