Mission Statement

The Graham Family wishes to give back to those who helped during their most devastating time,
and to keep Lucy’s memory alive within the spirit of this giving. The foundation awards grants to
organizations that assist families dealing with traumatic circumstances.

About The L.E.G. Up Foundation…
The L.E.G. Up Foundation was established in 2005 in loving memory of Lucy Elizabeth Graham,
who tragically lost her life in a car accident just after her second birthday.

About Lu…
Lucy was a beautiful child whose sparkling eyes and smile will never be forgotten. Nor will her little laugh, or the sound of her sweet voice. She loved living and had a positive impact on all the people that she met in her life. She loved giving hugs, laughing, dancing, making music, chasing animals, and cuddling. She spread joy with her presence and her spirit will continue to inspire the people who knew her. She was a precious gift.  Her memory will live on forever through her sister, brothers, and all of her family.

On August 6, 2010, a grant was awarded towards the construction of The Gift of Life Family House in Philadelphia.  The Family House is a place for family members to stay while their loved one awaits, receives, or recovers from an organ transplant.  With Lucy’s final gift, she saved the lives of three people.
