Mission
The Vicky Ahlum Memorial Scholarship Foundation was established to commemorate the good works done throughout Vicky’s lifetime. The Fund was initiated by Vicky’s family and friends to honor Vicky’s lifelong commitment to education. The Fund will provide a scholarship to Henderson High School seniors pursuing elementary education, who show financial need and demonstrate a commitment to community service. Family and friends will meet annually to review scholarship applications and select an award.

About the Scholarship…
Purpose
The Vicky Ahlum Memorial Scholarship Foundation was created by the friends and family of esteemed educator Vicky Ahlum to honor her memory and her life’s work as an educator.
Award
One scholarship, $400, will be given each year at graduation time to a Henderson High School student. The scholarship can be used for college expenses, especially books. This is a one-time gift.
Eligibility
Applicants must attend an accredited post-secondary education institution after graduation from high school, and be pursuing an elementary education career. Preference will be given to students indicating financial need, and who demonstrate a track record of community service.
