Build Strong Minds

Scholarships awarded by the Chester County Community Foundation are funded by donors who are advisors for charitable funds held in trust by CCCF. Scholarships are awarded based on criteria as specified by the donor(s).

The majority of scholarship awards granted by CCCF are awarded to students graduating from a specific high school (generally a Chester County, PA high school), technical school, and/or college/university that meets the defined scholarship criteria. In most cases, these scholarships are awarded to students who will be pursuing post-secondary education at a technical school, community college and/or a 4 year college.

Interested in creating a scholarship fund?

Establishing a scholarship fund allows a donor to fund a scholarship award based on pre-defined criteria to a person(s) pursuing an education. A donor may recommend criteria for a scholarship award and a scholarship selection process which is consistent with CCCF policies and applicable IRS regulations. Most scholarships at the Community Foundation benefit disadvantaged, promising students from a particular school, and/or those who are pursuing a particular field of study.
