(West Chester, PA – July 17, 2019):

Just in time for back to school season, the Chester County Community Foundation (CCCF) is pleased to announce that it recently awarded 2.5 million in grants and scholarships. The CCCF Business Affairs team has been hard at work, processing $300,000 in scholarship awards awarded via 200 scholarships to promising students from various high schools, technical schools, and colleges within Chester County. CCCF is proud to help build strong minds by connecting donors with scholarship applicants to ensure a bright future for Chester County.

With over 400 charitable funds held in trust, CCCF creates lasting legacies within Chester County. More than 95% of grants awarded by CCCF are made through the generosity of donors who hold funds with the Community Foundation. These donors feel strong connections with their grantees and offer financial support in one or more of the following fields; capacity building, capital & endowment, general operating, or environmental causes.
Scholarships awarded by CCCF are funded by donors who are advisors for charitable funds held in trust at CCCF. Scholarships are based on criteria set out by the donor. Donors leave their legacy by investing their funds in the future of Chester County… it’s students.
