January 14, 2022 The Thoroughbred Education and Research Foundation (TERF) is pleased to award $4,000 to Horsemen U to support Horsemen U’s continuing education platform for a full year. The online platform was launched to assist trainers, assistant trainers, and others in the equine industry with continuing education requirements. The California Thoroughbred Trainers (CTT), Maryland Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association (MTHA), and New York Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association (NYTHA) teamed up to start Horsemen U because education is the best investment for improving the equine industry. TERF AWARDS $10,000 TO BELMONT CHILD CARE ASSOCIATION

The Thoroughbred Education and Research Foundation (TERF) is pleased to award the Belmont Child Care Association, Inc. (BCCA) $10,000 to be used for educational purposes. The mission of BCCA is to provide a safe, supportive, and academically inspiring environment for the children of parents working in the Thoroughbred racing backstretch area located at New York’s historic Belmont Park, Aqueduct Racetrack, and Saratoga Race Course. HISTORY IN THE MAKING: 22ND ANNUAL LITTLE LINCOLN GETTYSBURG ADDRESS CONTEST

(WEST CHESTER, PA – December 7, 2021): The Chester County Community Foundation was proud to host the 22nd Annual Gettysburg Address Contest on December 4. Seven “Little Lincolns” dressed up as President Abraham Lincoln and recited the Gettysburg Address from the steps of the Historic Chester County Courthouse as a crowd of family members, friends, teachers, and community members cheered the middle schoolers on.
