(West Chester, PA – August 6, 2024): Join the Chester County Community Foundation for a day of learning and networking at the annual Board of Directors Institute, on Saturday, October 5th starting at 8:30am. The Institute will be held at the Chester County Intermediate Unit, located at 455 Boot Road, Downingtown, PA and concludes at 2pm.
The success of a nonprofit organization depends on the effectiveness of its board. To help nonprofits achieve their missions, the Board of Directors Institute is designed to enhance board members’ understanding of comprehensive nonprofit leadership. The Institute offers valuable workshops covering topics like board responsibilities and recruitment, fundraising strategies, legal obligations, major gifts, and strategic planning.
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in interactive in-person learning sessions with local nonprofit leaders and consultants, as well as engaging discussions addressing real-world challenges facing nonprofit boards. The Board Institute equips board members with the right tools needed to drive their organizations forward.
Registration is limited. The cost varies based on the number of attendees. Registration includes continental breakfast, boxed lunch and handouts.
