MISSION STATEMENT
The Emily & George Purnell Scholarship Fund has been established to provide scholarships to hard working, African American students involved in community service and/or religious activities who graduated from a West Chester High School. Scholarships will cover the cost of books, lab fees, and learning materials.
Eligibility…
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a graduate from a West Chester High School, especially Henderson, East or Rustin. Student must demonstrate a serious, hard work ethic, though they do not necessarily have to have the highest grades. Student must demonstrate financial need.
