Thoroughbred Education & Research Foundation Announces Research Grants Awarded

November 4, 2022 The Thoroughbred Education and Research Foundation (TERF) is pleased to announce the awarding of $62,389 in research grants that will support the goal of making racing safe. With the vision and mission of bettering the life of Thoroughbreds, TERF primarily aims to support students in pursuit of education in equine industry careers and to fund research efforts, which better the life of the Thoroughbred racehorse. Benjamin Franklin would be Proud of this Philanthropic Student Group

West Chester, PA– At the Chester County Community Foundation, growing philanthropy is the core mission of all of those involved with the organization. One way the Foundation grows philanthropy is by working with our communities’ youth to demonstrate the power of giving back. The Foundation partners with the Honors Stewardship and Civics Engagement Class at West Chester University (WCU) to recommend the nonprofit recipient of the Benjamin Franklin Trust grant award.
