(West Chester, PA – September 25, 2023): The Chester County Community Foundation is honoring our outgoing board member Matthew Holliday who served on the Board of Directors from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2023.
Matthew Holliday served as a member of the Governance/Nominating Committee which targeted and cultivated candidates to secure the future of the Community Foundation via a strong Board of Directors. Holliday also served as a member of the Grants and Scholarship Policy Committee which focused on approving grants and scholarships to help Chester County nonprofits and students.
Holliday has continuously supported the Foundation’s community asset development by making connections and serving as an ambassador for endowed legacy philanthropy. He also increased community engagement through event attendance, cultivation, stewardship, and philanthropy inspiration.
Holliday led by example by serving as a fund advisor for the West Chester Downtown Foundation and the West Chester Up On the Roof Fund.
Matthew Holliday has served as a model for others through compassionate leadership, thoughtful wisdom, and an abundant generosity of spirit. The Board of Directors at the Chester County Community Foundation extends its deepest gratitude and appreciation for Matthew Hollidays many contributions.
Outgoing Board member Matthew Holliday has done exceptional work over his time in the position. His dedication and outstanding professional service has opened many doors to legacy and philanthropy in Chester County. As an active community member, Matthew Holliday has strengthened and grown legacy philanthropy through serving within his board chair roles.
In addition to our outgoing Board chairs, the Community Foundation is pleased to announce new Board members. They will serve the non-profit community and beyond through their service and dedication to Chester County.
