What Does it Mean to Be a Host Organization?
Host organization play a key role in shaping and supporting these conversations. Involvement ensures that discussions reflect the needs and priorities of your community.
Hosts play a critical role in shaping and supporting these conversations. Responsibilities include:
Hosting 4-6 conversations that align with your community’s interests and concerns
Providing a space (physical or virtual) for discussions
Selecting topics that reflect community needs
Promoting the events within your networks
Coordinating logistics (seating, technology, accessibility)
Supporting facilitation (providing a moderator or working with us to assign one)
Gathering feedback through participant surveys
Time Commitment: Each conversation typically lasts 90 minutes and can be structured as a one-time event or as part of an ongoing series.
