(WEST CHESTER, PA – October 6, 2021): The New Beginnings Attainable Housing Fund of the Chester County Community Foundation (CCCF) is pleased to be the recipient of a $2,500 grant award from the Malvern Federal Charitable Foundation. The New Beginnings Attainable Housing Fund raises capital from charitable donors and then deploys it to nonprofit organizations, using grants and loans, for property development and rehabilitation projects that provide safe, attainable housing for people across Chester County.
Created by the Westminster Presbyterian Church in West Chester, the New Beginnings Attainable Housing Fund hopes to help relieve the housing issue that persists today in Chester County. Malvern will be presenting their donation on Sunday, September 26th, at the Malvern Foundation Charity Polo Event located at the Brandywine Polo Club. The award ceremony and event celebrate the work of the Malvern Federal Charitable Foundation. Patricia McLennan, Senior Vice President and Director of Community Development at the Bank, noted, “The work of the New Beginnings Attainable Housing Fund fits the Bank, and its Charitable Foundation’s mission to assist our most vulnerable Chester County residents. We are pleased to support this important initiative to create accessible housing opportunities”
