Thoroughbred Education and Research Foundation Awards $4,000 to the Retired Racehorse Project

The Thoroughbred Education and Research Foundation (TERF) is pleased to award the Retired Racehorse Project (RRP) $4,000 to be used for educational purposes. The RRP’s mission is to facilitate placement of Thoroughbred ex-racehorses in second careers by increasing demand for them in the equestrian marketplace and educating equestrians to provide the training that secures their future. Thoroughbred Education and Research Foundation Awards $108,000 in Grants

The Thoroughbred Education and Research Foundation (TERF) is pleased to award $108,000 in grants to nine organizations. With the vision and mission of bettering the life of Thoroughbred, TERF primarily aims to support students in pursuit of education in Equine Medicine and to fund research efforts which better the life of the Thoroughbred horse. (West Chester, PA – July 28, 2020): The Chester County Community Foundation is now accepting applications for the 2020 – 2021 Peer Learning Circles.  The Circles are designed for individuals in the Nonprofit Executive Director, Nonprofit Development Manager, and Planned Giving Professional Fields. A skilled facilitator with extensive knowledge of the nonprofit sector will manage the process and discussion for each Peer Learning Circle.
