Thoroughbred Education and Research Foundation awards $15,000 to Belmont Childcare Association, Inc.


Belmont Childcare Association recently received a $15,000 grant from the Thoroughbred Education and Research Foundation. Thanks to this grant, Belmont will fund its early childhood education program at Anna’s House and Faith’s House, which incorporates a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) based curriculum to prepare children for elementary school while having fun and developing physically, emotionally, socially, and cognitively.

(West Chester, PA – SEPTEMBER 5, 2025): The Thoroughbred Education and Research Foundation (TERF) is pleased to award $15,000 to Belmont Childcare Association, Inc. (BCCA) to be used for its early childhood education and development program.

Joanne K. Adams, BCCA Executive Director, stated “BCCA is so grateful to TERF for the annual support we receive which helps to fund our early childhood education and development programs at Anna House and Faith’s House, in alignment with our mission to provide a safe, supportive, and academically inspiring environment for the children of parents working in the Thoroughbred racing backstretch area located at New York’s historic Belmont Park, Aqueduct Racetrack, and Saratoga Racecourse.”
