Chester County Community Foundation Fosters Connections for Professional Advisors
Since I started in June, I have been meeting with many individuals, including a good deal of professional advisors, to listen and learn.
I have learned that professional advisors in our community (estate attorneys, CPA accountants, trust officers, financial advisors, and many others) are a key component to the success of our community foundation but to the philanthropic vitality that exists in Chester County and beyond.
Each year, the Chester County Community Foundation recognizes professional advisors who has gone above and beyond to “open the door” to legacy philanthropy in our great community. At our upcoming Annual Meeting on Monday, October 26, we will honor many people for their altruism, especially, Douglas L. Kaune, Esq., Unruh Turner Burke & Frees and Donna Ziev, CTFA, CISP, AEP® Phoenixville Federal Bank and Trust, with our Foundation’s coveted Door Opener Award.
The Door Opener Award was established by the Community Foundation to recognize professional advisors who act as outstanding advocates in the promotion of legacy philanthropy. Professional advisors who present and encourage philanthropic initiatives to their clients as they plan their estates are significant in propelling the philanthropic agenda.
