Professional Advisor Newsletter

April 2026

Dear Colleague:

There’s a quote attributed to Confucius that says, “We have two lives, and the second begins when we realize we only have one.” And it’s that second life where most people start to think about leaving a legacy. Whether it’s leaving a legacy for your family, building an organization that outlasts you, or supporting causes and things that are most important to you … legacy is a way of “passing on the essence of one’s self, in particular one’s values and beliefs.  At the Chester County Community Foundation, we help individuals and families make the most of their charitable giving and plan their philanthropy by creating legacy donor advised funds.  If you have a client who wants to start thinking about leaving a legacy, please contact us.  It would be a pleasure to work with you and your clients.

Enjoy this month’s enewsletter focusing on: serving charitable clients, transferring a private foundation, and charitable giving in a down market.

Sincerely,
Chester County Community Foundation
